58 books if you count the two short ones....
Dead Run by P. J. Tracy. OK, the first book in the series was the best, but this was still interesting and worth reading. I'll put up with one hacker saving the day while the count-down timer ticks away, in order to get different, strong, intelligent female characters.

Old Man's War by John Scalzi. They're calling him the heir to Heinlein, and that's not a total stretch. Interesting universe, interesting characters, alien aliens....

Two-Fisted Science, and Dignifying Science, by Jim Ottaviani et al. These are graphic stories, not my best medium, and apparently actually designed for kids who don't know much about scientists. I'll see what Derek thinks, but I was underwhelmed--not least because I'd read a lot of the source texts they based the stories on!
